Founded in 2020 by Anthony, a passionate circus and sports teacher from the north of France, the French Circus school was created to share his love of circus arts and inspire children in Melbourne to learn French. With experience running circus and sports programs since 2008, Anthony and his team bring a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and energy to every session.
Workshops combine a variety of circus activities designed to keep children active, curious, and confident. From balancing and juggling to games and group challenges, every child finds something they enjoy. Worskshops also incorporate elements of the French language in a playful and natural way, offering a cultural twist that sets the program apart.
The French Circus School has become a trusted partner to numerous events, schools and kindergartens across Melbourne and maintains ties with the local French Community.

Our Founder, Anthony Panel
Anthony Panel is the Founder and Creative Director of The French Circus School.
Originally from Normandy in northern France, Anthony is a qualified sports educator with a background in French literature and more than 18 years of experience working with children in movement and performance-based programs.
At The French Circus School, Anthony leads as Creative Director, shaping the vision and experience behind every workshop. Drawing on his expertise in movement and performance, he designs dynamic, high-energy programs that support children’s physical health, coordination and overall wellbeing.
Under his direction, each workshop is thoughtfully designed to be structured, inclusive and engaging — ensuring children don’t simply participate, but take an active role in the experience.
Our Educators
The French Circus School works with experienced educators from both French and Australian backgrounds, bringing together expertise in movement, performance and language.
Each facilitator is carefully selected for their experience working with children and their ability to deliver structured, high-energy workshops in a safe and inclusive environment.
With a focus on professionalism, participation and positive engagement, our team ensures every session supports children’s confidence, coordination and social connection.
