Circus Incursions for Schools - with Optional French Integration
All ages
A professionally delivered incursion that builds confidence, coordination and teamwork.
Students develop coordination, focus and confidence while learning core juggling skills with balls, flower sticks and spinning plates in a structured and supportive environment.
French language can be seamlessly integrated through movement and action-based learning — or sessions can focus purely on circus skills, depending on your school’s needs.
School incursions can run for half a day, a full day, or across multiple days, and may involve the whole school or selected year levels. Classes rotate through structured workshop blocks, ensuring smooth delivery and high engagement throughout.
The Many Benefits of Circus Activities for Children
Immersive Language Learning (optional)
Students are immersed in French throughout the session, with language tailored to their level. This approach naturally supports vocabulary development and listening comprehension in a fun and engaging way.
Improving Agility, Balance and Coordination
Juggling, balancing, and object manipulation activities help children refine their physical coordination and motor abilities while having fun.
Support Concentration and Patience
Mastering circus skills requires focus and persistence, helping students strengthen their attention span and develop patience in a fun, hands-on way.
Wellbeing
As students progress through circus skills, they build confidence and self-esteem, which positively contributes to their overall wellbeing and personal development.
Social Skills and Teamwork
Pair and group activities foster communication, collaboration, and a strong sense of mutual support, helping students build social skills and learn to work effectively as a team.
Active Learning
By combining movement, play, and laughter, students stay motivated and fully engaged, creating a fun and memorable learning experience in both French and circus arts.

What schools are saying about us
FAQs - School Incursions
Q1. I’m interested in booking an incursion for my school – what should I do next?
Simply get in touch with us to start the conversation. To provide you with a tailored quote, we’ll need the following details:
Number of classes you’d like the incursion for
Total number of students who would participate
A few preferred dates
Whether a large room or suitable space will be available on the day
Providing these details doesn’t mean you’re locked into a booking — it just allows us to confirm availability and prepare an accurate quote for your school.
Q2. What age groups are the incursions designed for?
Our programs are suitable for students from Prep to Year 12. Each incursion is carefully tailored to suit the students’ age, French language level, and motor development.
Q3. How many students per group?
We typically work with groups of 25 to 75 students at a time, with group size adjusted to suit your school’s space and needs. Multiple groups can be scheduled throughout the day.
Q4.How long does each session last?
We offer flexible formats to suit your schedule:
30-minute, 50-minute, or 1-hour sessions
Longer workshops can also be arranged, allowing students to explore more activities (such as juggling and balance) in depth
Q5. Do you travel outside of Melbourne?
Yes! We are happy to travel anywhere within Victoria, and even beyond, depending on availability.
Additional travel fees may apply for schools located further away.
Q6. Are the instructors qualified?
All our facilitators hold:
A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
A Police Check
They are also trained to deliver fun, safe and age-appropriate sessions for school settings.
Q7. Is the incursion conducted entirely in French?
Not necessarily — we adapt to your context.
Our incursions are designed for all levels.
No prior knowledge of French is required.
We use simple vocabulary, gestures, and movement-based repetition to help students understand and participate.
For immersion or bilingual programs, we can increase the level of French spoken during the session.
Q8. What kind of activities do you offer?
Depending on the age group and session length, incursions may include:
Juggling (balls, scarves, spinning plates, flower sticks)
Balance challenges (balance ball, barrel, and more.)
Movement-based games with instructions in French
Q9. How do incursions support student learning?
Our sessions encourage:
Motor coordination and physical engagement
Creativity and self-expression
Confidence and teamwork
Language exposure in an immersive, playful setting
Q10. Can teachers observe or join in?
Both! Teachers are welcome to observe, participate, or help connect the session to classroom learning. We love collaborative approaches.
Q11.My students don’t learn French, but we’re interested in circus activities — is that possible?
Definitely! Our programs are flexible.
We can offer circus-only sessions focused entirely on physical skills, teamwork and fun, delivered in English or with a touch of French if you like.
Q12.What are the prices for a school incursion?
Our incursions start from $15 per student.
